Francisco Guerrero Obituary, Death Cause – The passing of Francisco Camin Guerrero occurred on Friday, July 7th, only 20 days before he would have turned 62 years old. Frank had a kind and generous spirit, and he would go out of his way to assist anyone who asked for his assistance. Those who were closest to him were profoundly influenced by his kind and enduring legacy. He is survived by his two Daughters and his Grandson, all of whom wish nothing more than to offer their Father and Grandfather a fitting farewell so that he can finally find peace in his passing. Frank was born on July 27, 1961 in the city of El Paso, Texas, which is also where he spent his childhood. He graduated from El Paso High School in 1979 after being named to the All-Star football team there.

Soon after completing his schooling, he joined the United States Navy and Marine Corps, where he worked in the medical fields of both of those branches. He is now a veteran of our great nation. He worked at Thomason General Hospital for a few years after he got out of the war, and then he worked at The Hospital of Providence in El Paso, Texas, for the next 30 years. He had a tremendous passion for assisting and curing other people, and he contributed back to his community by doing so. He was an incredible father who never failed to express to his two daughters and grandson the boundless love that he had for them in his heart.

After serving for a period of six months in Camp Legeune in the 1980s, Frank was found to have contracted Reno-Vascular Disease as a result of drinking polluted water. The disease was traced back to the water supply at Camp Legeune. Because of the contamination in the water, he was one of the one million people who were afflicted. We were not prepared for this sorrow, let alone the cost of burial services; hence, our hearts are shattered beyond repair by the news of the passing of our father, Frank. Given that one of our country’s heroes had passed away, we reached out to the Veterans Administration with the expectation that they would assist us in our efforts to raise money.
